The NFL, Limbaugh, J-Lo, Picasso and You

In America, if you have the scratch to purchase a business, a franchise, a hot dog cart; it is in your full right. Now let’s say you are a conservative talk show host who is Obama’s most vocal opponent, and you have the scratch to purchase a franchise, it is not your right. In fact, some will do all in their power to make sure that doesn’t happen. Who would try to stop you? WHO?!

Why, race-hustlers Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson of course! These two have a very serious track record for trying all they can to make race an issue. Their most recent race related incident involves Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh. What? You’ve heard of him?

Rush Limbaugh was mentioned as a potential minority owner for the dreadful St. Louis Rams. Keep in mind that the St. Louis Rams were not even (and still aren’t) for sale. So what’s the problem Uncle Von? I’ll tell you the problem, He’s a Racist! A racist I say! He said such hateful things as this:

I think the media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well.  They’re interested in black coaches and black quarterbacks doing well.  I think there’s a little hope invested in McNabb and he got a lot of credit for the performance of his team that he really didn’t deserve.”

What?! How dare you sir! Oh wait….there wasn’t anything racist about that…

Let’s be honest here, is Donovan McNabb over-rated? Yes. Is it racist for a white guy to express his opinion that a black quarterback is over-rated? No.

Enter Demaurice Smith. Who is Demaurice Smith you ask? He is the Executive Director of the National Football League Players Association, of course. Wow that’s a long title…

Anyway, Demaurice Smith is also a big contributor to Liberal organizations and Politicians. In fact, he contributed 3,300 doll-hairs to Obama’s campaign. He had this to say about Limbaughs bid:

“This communication is more about what we stand for than the reality of our role in any franchise sale. While it’s true the subject matter was related [to Limbaugh's bid], I do understand that the NFL does not present ownership bids to me or the NFLPA. I encourage our players to express their views.”

So he is saying “I am opposed to this, so please players, speak up about how much this sucks”

“I have asked our players to embrace their roles not only in the game of football but also as players and partners in the business of the NFL,” said Smith in the e-mail. “They risk everything to play this game, they understand that risk and they live with that risk and its consequences for the rest of their life. We also know that there is an ugly part of history and we will not risk going backwards, giving up, giving in or lying down to it.

“Our men are strong and proud sons, fathers, spouses and I am proud when they stand up, understand this is their profession and speak with candor and blunt honesty about how they feel.”

Wow, those are strong words. So strong that it sounds like being a person who gets paid millions of dollars a year to play a sport, is relatable to someone in the military who gets deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan.

nfl

The NFL: it’s basically Iraq light. Or is Iraq, the NFL light?

But this quote confuses me and here is why: What in the blue hell does this have to do with Limbaugh? So what you are saying is if Limbaugh was a minority owner of a crap football team, race-relations in the NFL, nay, America; would go back decades? Sure that makes sense…

So he stand up and says something about Limbaugh (remember, he is a vocal opponent of the anointed one, Obama) even though he has no pull or say in the matter? It’s weird that someone who was on Obama’s transition team would speak out against this so vocally. Oh, did I forget to mention that Demaurice Smith was a part of Obama’s transition team? Sorry.

Joseph Ashby of the American Thinker summed it up nicely when he wrote:

“Smith’s gross conflict of interest and apparent political targeting of Obama’s top foe is a huge story. Unfortunately the media appears too blinded by their prejudice of Limbaugh to report on it.

To summarize, we know that a former Obama official and political ally — who was chosen by the NFLPA specifically for his political clout and connections to the highest rungs of power in government — directly attacked Limbaugh for the radio-talker’s political commentary.

Historically politicians have been prone to vindictive and petty behavior, but never in American history has someone had so much power to pummel his political opponents as President Obama. With control over banks, insurance companies, car companies, media (sports media included) and unions (like the NFL players union), Obama tentacles seem to penetrate into nearly every corner of the nation.”

Indeed

Let’s Talk about Al Sharpton now. We all know Al Sharpton. He is an impartial, unbiased, man-child, who wants nothing more than to target and eliminate racism at every level. That last sentence was completely inaccurate. In fact, an argument can be made that he and Jesse Jackson, are actually doing harm to race-relations. Sharpton is more racist than Limbaugh, and I’ll show you.

Obama

“I could watch you eat ALL-day-long”

In 1991, a Hasidic Jewish driver in Brooklyn driving in a motorcade, accidently veered off the road and killed a seven-year-old Gavin Cato who was black. Smelling racism, Sharpton swoops on scene telling people that this was a hate crime.   At Gavin’s funeral, Sharpton railed against the Jews, calling them “Diamond merchants” and that they (the Jews) had “the blood of innocent babies” on their hands.

That’s not Anti-Semitic at all…

In 1998, Sharpton was ordered to pay 65,000 doll-hairs for defamation for falsely accusing a New York prosecutor of rape in the infamous Tawana Brawley case.  If you are unfamiliar with that case, simply go to Google and search ‘Tawana Brawley’. You will be repulsed by what you find I guarantee.

Not to be outdone, Jesse Jackson once said of Barack Obama:

“Barack…he’s talking down to black people…telling niggers how to behave.”

Let’s not forget in 1984 when Jackson referred to Jews as “Hymie’s” and called New York City “Hymie-town”

Jesse_Jackson,

“The itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout…then a white guy came in and squashed him. It’s a hate crime! He’s anti-spider! What did that innocent spider do to provoke such hate?"

So who is the real racist here? The people who seek out racism in any avenue possible, have spewed racial slurs more than Limbaugh has? Or Limbaugh himself for saying that over-rated McNabb is indeed, over-rated? Give me a man-sized break over here!

Sharpton and Jackson have made a living off of stuff like this. Anytime they think something public is race-related, they come in on their steed and save the day. But they are the ones doing the real harm. Conservatives don’t make issue of race. That is because they see people as human beings, regardless of color. Conservatives don’t have a problem with Obama because he’s half black, they have a problem with him because of his socialist ideologies. They have a problem with the nanny state he is creating. They have a problem with freedoms he is trying to strip us of.  Limbaugh isn’t a racist; he is simply a vocal conservative talk radio host who wants to buy an NFL team. It’s in his right. Owning an NFL team is a privilege but it can also be considered Limbaugh’s right to join the ranks. If he and his boy have more money than the other bidders, then why the hell not?

Limbaugh wouldn’t do any more damage than other minority owners have. Let’s talk about 2 minority owners of the Miami Dolphins.

Jennifer_Lopez_

“J-lo here, making being a sleezy hooker look easy since 1987”

The same day news broke that J-lo and Fergie became part owners of the Dolphins, Limbaugh was dropped from his ownership group seeking the Rams. Look at these lyrics (if you can call them that) from a song (if you can call it that) that J-lo performed with Ja Rule. Warning, this is some vulgar stuff:

What’s my motherf***in’ name? R-U-L-E
Blowin’ back on this Mary Jane, I’m analyzin’ the game
And the game done chose me
To bring pain to p***y n*ggaz and p***y hoes, it’s one in the same

That’s art like the thing my dog left in the backyard for me is a Picasso…

Fergie, do you have anything to present? Oh, you do? Lets see:

Overseas, yeah, we try to stop terrorism
But we still got terrorists here livin’
In the USA, the big CIA …

A war is goin’ on but the reason’s undercover
The truth is kept secret, it’s swept under the rug

No big deal, just accusing the CIA of being terrorists…

Fergie_1

“It’s true, I did pee myself in front of everyone. I make being a drunken, slut-tastic, liberal, slob look like an art form”

Did I mention Fergie was so drunk one time at a show that she wet her pants mid-song in front of a live audience?

Oh yea, Serena Williams is also a part owner, who had this to say to a tennis official:

“ If I could, I would take this fu**ing ball and shove it down your fu**ing throat,”

That is all acceptable, but being a Conservative talk show host is so unacceptable, that you cannot be a minority owner of an NFL franchise. The double-standard is amazing. News organizations even went as far as falsifying quotes that Limbaugh supposedly uttered. Check out these videos if you please.

You get my point. Limbaugh being blocked is nothing more than tearing down the most popular Conservative out there today. I will leave you with this video of Representative Steve King (R-Iowa) straight tearing up NFL commissioner Goodell for his double-standards. It will bring you joy. Trust me.

Good day and thanks for reading. Please leave a comment and spread the word!

Love,

Your dear Uncle Von
